Happy Saturday Wordnerds!
The other night, as I was flipping electronic pages in yet another hot bath, I had a thought. I should really give credit where credit is due. If I didn’t take two hours to soak in the tub a few times a week with a great read, there may not be a Read ‘Em and Eat at all.
In fact, I do SO much of my reading in the bathtub that I want to do a wee bit of a shout out to the company that sets the scene for so many of my reading sessions.
Disclaimer: This post is in NO way sponsored or endorsed by LUSH Cosmetics – but how freaking cool would that be?!
I’ve just started using the LUSH bath line in the last year (my lovely sister got me hooked on them. She sends them to me all the time since we don’t have a retailer here) and I don’t know that I will ever be able to go back to regular, Bath & Bodyworks bath bombs.
The whole idea behind LUSH is that it is made with fresh ingredients, are 100% cruelty free, and completely vegan. Some of the face masks even have a shelf life and have to be stored in the refrigerator – so you know they’re fresh.
On top of that, if you buy any LUSH cosmetics products that come in a container, you can return the container to the store to be reused – and after you return five of them, they’ll give you a free face mask!
If you’re like me, and the most relaxing thing you can think of on a Saturday night (or a Friday… or a Tuesday… or…) is a beautifully scented bath, a glass of wine, and your most recent read – you owe it to yourself to check out the wide range of products offered by this amazing company. Just be warned that when you travel down the rabbit-hole, it’s almost impossible to go back. The Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars are my new favourite addiction.
A few of my favourite products thus far are:
The Rocket Science Bath Bomb (pictured above)
Brightside Bubble Bar (Great if you don’t want to have to choose between bubbles and bath bomb! Bubble bars are BOTH!)
Thanks so much for reading! If you need me, I’ll be in the tub!
